The US economy. Immigration laws & the Wall. Greenland: population, 57,000. A Danish colonial passion, under Queen Margretha II. And the Danish PM made rude remarks about the US president – after we’d bought the US Virgin Island from Denmark for $25 million in gold.
The population is predominantly Inuit. Ethnographically, they consist of three major groups:
– the Kalaallit of west Greenland, who speak Kalaallisut
– the Tunumiit of Tunu (east Greenland), who speak Tunumiit oraasiat (“East Greenlandic”)
– the Inughuit of north Greenland, who speak Inuktun (“Polar Eskimo”)
– the Kalaallit of west Greenland, who speak Kalaallisut
– the Tunumiit of Tunu (east Greenland), who speak Tunumiit oraasiat (“East Greenlandic”)
– the Inughuit of north Greenland, who speak Inuktun (“Polar Eskimo”)
