77 WABC, New York City’s legendary news-talk radio station, is looking for high-energy and enthusiastic part-time Marketing Assistants. If you are looking to get your foot in the door in the entertainment industry and learn about marketing and branding a radio station, then you would be a great fit for this part-time position.
Marketing Assistants are the station’s brand ambassadors that engage with public. They are responsible for helping to develop new marketing initiatives, building the brand and station audience as well as helping coordinate station-run events, promotions and contests.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for radio broadcasting and “out of the box” marketing. Previous experience in marketing or branding is a plus as is social media experience. Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. A valid driver’s license with clean driving record is mandatory.
