Jay-Z announced that his company Roc Nation would be partnering with the NFL, and while he still supports protesting, he feels things are “past kneeling”. He says he hopes to work with the league to make substantial changes.
Colin Kaepernick responded via Twitter on Sunday night, saying they have not moved past any of their beliefs.

77 WABC’s “Bernie & Sid in the Morning” discussed the topic from the weekend, including the response from Kaepernick’s former teammate Eric Reid, saying they believed that if the NFL wants you to stand during the National Anthem then you should stand.
Hosts Bernard McGuirk and Sid Rosenberg continued, pointing out that not being able to play in the NFL is the cost of the sacrifice Kaepernick said he was making.
