Gary Goldberg is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gary Goldberg Financial Services. As founder and leader of the firm,
Mr. Goldberg is the main driving force behind their investment strategy and policy. He is a member of both the firm’s Executive Committee and the Strategic Investment Committee. Prior to forming GGFS in 1972, Mr. Goldberg had a successful career as an institutional trader on Wall Street. Since then, he has built the firm bearing his name into one of the premier full-service Investment Management Firms in the Hudson Valley Region.
In addition to serving as the firm’s CEO, Mr. Goldberg also hosts one of America’s longest continually running financial radio talk show, Money Matters. As host of Money Matters, Mr. Goldberg is able to personally interview some of today’s most influential political and business leaders, giving him a unique advantage to gain first-hand insight into their thoughts and feeling about current market and socio-economic conditions.
Mr. Goldberg earned his bachelors degree from Bard College and attended Brooklyn Law School. Additionally, over the course of his professional career, Mr. Goldberg has served on the following boards: Board of Directors NYC Fire Department – Educational Fund 9/11/01; Nyack Hospital, where he was Head of the Investment Committee for 6 years; Mercy College, where he was Head of the Investment Committee for 4 years; Executive Vice President of International Association of Financial Planners of Westchester and Rockland County; member of the Board of Trustees at Bard College Center, which also named its Computer Center after Mr. Goldberg; Board of Directors United Way of Rockland; Board of Directors American Cancer Society of Rockland County; Board of Directors American Heart Association of Rockland County; Man of the Year – Mercy College. Moreover, he is the author of “High Powered Investing” and has been a guest on CNBC’s Squawk Box.
