The Curtis Sliwa Show airs on 77 WABC radio weekday evenings. This is an ideal internship opportunity for all communications and broadcasting majors, especially those contemplating a career in news / talk / political programming, producing or as on-air talent.
College interns will get a hands-on experience in working in many different aspects of radio. In addition to assisting renowned radio talk show host and Guardian Angels Founder, Curtis Sliwa, in research for show topics and corresponding with listeners, interns may also assist in gathering sound bites, covering news events and editing audio. Students should be available a minimum of two days per week. Internship hours are 6PM to 11PM. Communications and Broadcast Journalism majors preferred.
