The return of Bob Grant....
This proves you CAN go home again. 77WABC has announced the return of Bob Grant. Bob takes over the 8-10pm slot effective immediately from Jerry Agar, who will continue to do his show for WLS in Chicago and will also fill-in for WABC. Bob was fired by WABC in 1996 after making a remark on the air that corporate parent Disney found offensive. At the time Bob was the most listened to talk show host in New York, with 11 years on the air on WABC. He then went to WOR where he retired a year ago. Now WABC is bringing him back!
"This adds one more slugger to the already formidable lineup on WABC," said WABC program director Phil Boyce. "That afternoon lineup of Rush to Sean to Mark Levin to Bob Grant is the new murderer's row of radio."
